A man of God and of faith, whose motto in life is “to whom much is given, much is required.” I believe that my purpose in life is one of service in being a vessel and a fountain to assist others. Sowing my time, talent and resource gives me a rewarding feeling and brings joy and fulfillment to my life. My successes, experiences and failures continue to shape the trajectory and journey of my life and has been a source of blessing as I pay it forward and impart into people I interact with, work with and players I get the opportunity to mentor and coach.

As a husband and father, I take great pride in leading, defending and always showing up for my team; Team Garnett. As a coach, my commitment mirrors that same dedication, and those foundational values continue to drive my success as a leader.

With a poised disposition and demeanor, often even-keeled and rarely rattled, I represent stability as a leader. Always prepared and organized with a strong work ethic, I stand firm in the belief that no detail is too small and requires attention. I possess a clear understanding that life and the business of sport consists of peaks and valleys, ups and downs, ebbs and flows with challenges along the way but I accept and embrace being flexible, and Adaptable. 

I am patient, adopting a process-driven mindset by staying in the moment and embracing short term performance goals and development. Stern and disciplined, but Fair. Motivation rooted in a positive attitude, joy and mindfulness that cultivates an environment that builds upward and creates confidence with daily gratitude for the opportunity. It’s supposed to be fun. 

Using my experience as a player and a coach, I value the importance of being relational and relatable with an approach to meet players where they are daily, nevertheless leading and motivating them toward the structure they desire but may not express. Having a strong work ethic, I take pride in being reliable and always available.
